Silicon Valley Lights designs and installs permanent outdoor lighting for homes across Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco, and Marin counties. Rooflines, patios, pergolas, and landscape accents: one system that carries a home from everyday warm white through every holiday of the year, then disappears into the architecture when it is off.

Consultants, not salesmen

Nobody from our team is going to sit at your kitchen table and pressure you into a package. We come out, look at the actual house, and tell you what the roofline can and cannot do. Sometimes that means a full smart system. Sometimes it means half the footage you were expecting, because lighting the back elevation would be spending money nobody will ever see from the street. We say so.

The goal on every job is a solution both sides are glad they signed. That means an honest scope, a firm number, and no surprises after the deposit. If what you want is not the right call for your home or your budget, you will hear that before you pay us, not after.

Precision is the product

Anyone can staple lights to a house. The difference shows up in the details you notice for the next ten years.

We run laser-straight lines with measured, consistent node spacing across every elevation, and we plan the layout around your architecture rather than forcing one template onto every house. Corners are mitered, not bent. Wiring stays concealed and the hardware gets color-matched to your fascia, so the run reads as trim rather than as a light strip. Nothing is drilled into your fascia or gutters, which means your roof edge stays exactly as sound as we found it.

Off, the system is close to invisible. On, the line is dead straight. That is the whole standard.

Commercial grade, not retail grade

We install commercial grade, outdoor rated hardware, the same class of equipment we put on institutional and hospitality projects. Not big-box seasonal product with a one-season lifespan.

You choose the look: classic warm-white Edison and C9 for a traditional roofline, or a Govee smart system with millions of colors, per-node animation, brightness and color scheduling, voice control, and holiday scenes already built in. Set it once and it runs itself all year, with a manual schedule mode for anyone who does not want to touch an app.

Most homes are finished in a single day. Larger estates take two.

Better than the national brands, for less

We compete directly with the national permanent-lighting franchises, and we win on both sides of the equation.

The quality is equal or better because we do the work ourselves. The person who designs your layout installs it and services it. No subcontractors, no rotating crews, no franchise quality-control gap between the brochure and the guy on the ladder.

The price is lower for a simple structural reason: we do not pay franchise fees, national advertising budgets, or a corporate margin stacked on top of the local one. That overhead comes out of the customer's pocket in their model. In ours it does not exist. You are paying for materials, engineering, and craftsmanship, not for a logo.

Backed in writing

Every permanent installation carries 3 years on the lights and 3 years on the craftsmanship, with a lifetime warranty on the PermTrack channel system. We service what we install, which is the part most homeowners find out too late matters most.
